Roadie is looking for a seasoned Enterprise Business Development Lead to help fuel the growth of Enterprise business partnerships using our delivery platform. We’re seeking a “hunter” who will build new relationships to drive growth in new customers, delivery usage, and ultimately revenue. The focus will be on identifying and converting businesses in the Enterprise space nationally or regionally to use Roadie for their shipping needs.

The Day to Day

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of Enterprise business development opportunities that will allow you to exceed given quotas
  • Design and execute a consultative business development strategy and manage the full partnership lifecycle including: lead generation, customer acquisition, and ongoing customer utilization
  • Manage the full cycle of Enterprise business development, including: lead generation, contract and pricing negotiation, legal navigation, Proof of Concept implementation, and continued partnership management
  • Build an expertise in logistics and competitive companies, then leverage this knowledge to provide clear communications about company differentiators and competitive advantages
  • Work closely with our Marketing team to identify and execute campaigns to help achieve business goals
  • Work closely with our Technology team to determine technical plans and capabilities that cater to a prospective client’s needs
  • Demonstrate key elements of our technology suite to prospective partners through face-to-face and online web demonstrations
  • Attend conferences and other industry-relevant events to build Enterprise relationships and stay on top of industry trends

Requirements

  • 8+ years of business development and/or sales experience for a high-growth technology or logistics company
  • Experience building and managing partnerships with Enterprise organizations across a wide variety of industry verticals, with an existing network to leverage
  • Experience managing long sales cycles with Enterprise clients
  • Have a strong “hunter” mentality with a proven track record of success in business development or sales
  • Demonstrated knowledge of logistics and sharing economy companies
  • Expertise in developing business cases and customizing presentations to fit targeted partnerships or industries
  • Flexibility to travel when needed for business development outside of Atlanta
