While visiting family in the north Georgia town of Dahlonega, Marsha decided to pop into local antique stores. She had never bought an antique before and was looking to add character to her home in Kyle, TX.
She was delighted to stumble upon a blue cherrywood fireplace mantel, which would add the exact pop of color she wanted in her living room. Before buying it, Marsha needed to figure out how to transport antiques all the way to her home 1,035 miles away. After a quick Google search, she found Roadie and posted a Gig. She was happy to see that it would only cost $247 to transport such an awkward, oversized delivery to her home in the Lone Star State.
David frequently passes through Georgia and Texas on his usual work route and offered to deliver the mantel, which fit just fine in his spacious box truck. Five days later, David delivered the mantel to Marsha’s door.
