Another month at Roadie means more amazing stories from our community. Not only did we spread the love at SXSW, but Roadie delivers Gigs from balloons to bureaus right to your door this month. From local to long haul, here is a roundup of our favorite Gigs in March.

Get the Gear There Uber Fast — and in time for the green beer!

Get The Nation’s Largest Local Same-Day Footprint.

What’s the collaborative economy without a little collaboration? With the South’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration coming up that weekend, one of Uber’s event managers, Ashley, needed to find a way to get her gear up to Savannah in time for Uber’s event. She posted a Gig to send the Uber gear, and the driver Scott arrived so quickly that he beat Ashley by 15 minutes.

“Our first gig went as smoothly as it could possibly have gone. Our Roadie Scott was super friendly and flexible throughout the process, and very professional… All in all, our first Roadie experience was an overwhelming success.” — Ashley

Atlanta Tech Village Celebrates 1,000

Home to some of Atlanta’s top growing startups, Atlanta Tech Village just broke the 1,000 active members mark! That milestone called for a celebration, and what is a celebration without oversized balloons? Atlanta Tech Village celebrates 1000 people

While the ATV team was busy setting up, Kaitlyn created a Gig that morning to get the balloons by lunchtime. Erik happened to be heading that way while driving to work and delivered the balloons from door to door. Congrats, ATV!

Ping Pong + Goodwill

Imagine you walk into a Goodwill and find the perfect ping pong table to finish making your basement the ultimate hangout spot. That’s exactly what happened to Lauren earlier this month, but she couldn’t fit the table in her car.Roadie delivers Gigs, such as a Goodwill donation ping pong

That’s when she turned to Roadie for an easy way to get it home. Lauren posted a Gig, then had the table delivered and set up in her home less than 3 hours later.

West Coast Keys

West coast key board RoadieRoadie is a major key, at least according to Jay (and maybe DJ Khaled). Last week, Jay needed to send his keyboard set from Seattle to his home in San Francisco.

Boxing it up and shipping with a usual carrier meant having to take apart the keyboard, then put it back together. So instead, he posted a Gig and in little over a week, Nikolas delivered Jay’s keyboard right to his door.

(Peri)scope out Roadie!

With a population around 1,000 people, little did we know we’d have such a champion of Roadie living in New Harmony, Indiana. One of our favorite customers, Cindy at Firehouse Antiques, needed to send bamboo chairs to her customer more than 400 miles away.

She found out about Roadie online and decided to post a Gig. In less than a week, Driver Abdul delivered the chairs to Cindy’s customers right to their door. Cindy had such a great experience with Roadie that she even gave a Periscope review of her experience!

Cindy Smotherman sold her chairs and sent them with Roadie
