    • Roadie Green™ customers must have at least 15 deliveries per day from each pick-up location in our active markets. Only a few locations with that volume? Talk to us about piloting Roadie Green™ in a portion of your pickup locations.

  • What kind of vehicles do drivers use?

    • Drivers have a range of fully electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles. All Roadie Green™ drivers have their vehicle make, model and year verified before becoming eligible for Roadie Green™ deliveries.

  • How does batching with Roadie Green™ work?

    • With Roadie Green™ you don’t have to choose between speed and sustainability. Orders headed in the same general direction are grouped along a single, optimized route. That approach helps companies save time and reduce emissions while meeting customers’ delivery expectations. Here’s how it works:

      • Senders submit multiple orders via Roadie’s application programming interface (API).
      • Once the orders are in, Roadie’s proprietary algorithm combines multiple orders into a single pickup based on parameters like direction and deadline, and it plans out a logical and efficient route for the driver.
      • Employees group the orders for driver pickup. They can use the Roadie SmartSort® app installed on scanners or mobile devices to make the process easier.
      • A single crowdsourced delivery driver picks up a batch of orders and delivers them quickly, often within just a few hours.
  • How does Roadie Green™ report emissions reductions?

    • We calculate emissions reduction compared to point-to-point deliveries with combustion engine vehicles. We’ll work with you to define a reporting period and metrics that map back to your organization’s sustainability goals, but common metrics include:

      • Carbon emissions per delivery
      • Total miles driven and reduction
      • Total carbon emissions and reduction
      • Carbon intensity

    • Roadie Green™ consolidation algorithm batches deliveries into pick-ups optimized to reduce miles driven. Roadie Green™ then prioritizes the closest driver with an EV or hybrid vehicle, with an option to fall back to regular vehicles if a low-emissions vehicle can’t be matched.

    • Yes! Roadie Green™ leverages same-day delivery windows. Orders are picked-up and delivered straight to customer homes within a few hours.
